New website as an important step in digitalisation process
At Flamingo, having spent the last year working hard on a brand-new website and catalogue, we are going all out digital. The result? A new, user-friendly website and branding. Moreover, our distributors will also be able to shop using a new B2B e-shop in a few months. Let us take you through our digital journey.
A branding exercise
An important step in our digitalisation process was to highlight our brand in a consistent way and to define a suitable style. This was achieved through an intensive branding exercise. We defined our business mission and core promises, along with identifying the right look and feel for our new website and future communications.
To strengthen the unique bond between each pet and their owner throughout their lives. This is to be achieved by making their shared lives easier and more enjoyable with our range of accessories and snacks.

An online catalogue with tips for pet owners
Our new website has been designed to act as a user-friendly and clearly-structured online catalogue where both customers and distributors alike can find a wealth of product information and downloadable files, allowing them to become even better acquainted with what Flamingo has to offer. Customers can also visit our new website for tips and advice on raising their loyal pets. Finally, there will also be a brand-new e-shop for distributors. This will follow during a later phase.

Our revamped website includes the following product information and assets (if available via our PIM system):

In addition, it is now easy to navigate through our wide range of products. Besides searching through different categories and animal families, it is also easy to filter your search by material, colour, etc., thereby helping you to find what you are looking for more efficiently.
A blog packed full of tips
On our new blog, we will be publishing lots of tips and advice on caring for and raising your pets. This will enable us to help owners by pointing them towards the right products for their loyal pets. Feel free to share them on your social media to boost your sales.
Our FAQ section provides answers to some of the most frequently asked questions, be they more general (e.g. 'how can I become a Flamingo distributor?') or product-specific (e.g. 'what are the differences between different types of cat litter?').
Coming soon: our new e-shop
We are still working on our B2B e-shop for distributors
. Existing e-shop customers can still visit the current e-shop, which you can now access via the button in the top right corner of our new website.
Our new website is an important, but certainly not the last, step in our digitalisation journey. We are eagerly working towards our new distributor e-shop. In the next phase, following the new shop's launch, we will be introducing further new features to the e-shop. For example, users will be able to download files such as manuals or images, consult invoices, subscribe to our newsletter, etc. As you can see, we are still full of ideas to make our website and e-shop as user-friendly as possible.
